    Would go up once in a while from PHX, seemed like more for weddings than just get our ya-ya's out just gambling. Whenever getting into Vegas i always had this Steely Dan tune going thru my head while in town. I did not have a jonesing to go there and Da Boss was not a big fan so we did not lose many wages :sunglasses:



    Anyway, onto round 1 and already enjoyed this lovely quasi WCDIPA from Burial. Burial does not brew clear IPA's and most of their WCIPA recipes still lean towards fruit forward hops as opposed to old school WCIPA hops. But you know, this was a really tasty brew!

    Pastel yellow, opaque; thick, creamy head, white. Fine, delicate tropical fruit aroma; a touch of biscuit on the nose. Bright flavor; citrus; grapefruit with a dose of light malt breadiness; light hop bitterness. Medium body; somewhat sharp on the palate; lightly acidic.

    A nice, easy drinking pale ale, more on the subdued side of things yet still exuding some fine features to tickle the palate.

    Anniversary Photo, a TIPA from American brewery District 96 (10%).

    Out of all of the American NEIPAs I have tasted, including some of the most hyped breweries, District 96 has clearly impressed me the most, especially the high-ABV TIPA and QUIPA I've had. Phenomenal stuff.
