Pretty good idea. Like crowd sourcing a beer. If you hit your sales goal it gets made and if not no loss. Have a vote up on your site with old favorites to see which ones people would like to return.

I definitely have a bottle of Gravedigger Billy, Straight Jacket, and Deth's tar somewhere ... I found then packing for the move this past year and promptly forgot where they ended up once we got settled into the new house. I should find them and open them.

This is par for the course. When I moved I moved 2 mini fridges, but acquired two more during the move. So my beer was(is) spread across 4 mini fridges, and probably 4 12oz case boxes, and another 4-5 750 case boxes. I thought it was organized at the time, but quickly I figured out it wasn’t.

I’m down to just 2 750ml boxes, and 1 12oz case box, excluding the fridges. …

About every 6mo I go through everything to see what needs to be drunk that I forgot about. And rearrange. Last night I did this, but I also separated a whole case and a half to give away that I just won’t drink.

Me, stunning the Barber family when the Gravedigger Billy bomber gets cracked...

Very Mad Cow, while uninspiring in name, is pretty funny. I like it.

Bet you wouldn’t think so if you had been diagnosed with mad cow disease…

I know Rev wouldn't do this, but I wish that is why it was called very mad cow. :stuck_out_tongue:

They definitely had issues with infection with these as they aged.

    The "Gene" series, too.

Revolution stopped barrel aging sub 10% a.b.v. beers at that point, as well as other changes, to make sure it never happened again.

Rev announced pricing for next week’s release. Inflation is a bitch!

“Prices and limits are set for next Tuesday's presale.

    D.B.V.S.O.D. - $50/four-pack (limit 3)
Ryeway to Heaven - $30/four-pack (no limit)
Straight Jacket - $25/four-pack (no limit)”

Straight Jacket and Ryeway to Heaven are the same prices as they were seven years ago with the first 4 X 12 oz releases.

DB VSOD is up $10 ($0.20833 per oz or $2.50 per can) from three years ago.

Revolution has done the best across all breweries in terms of keeping BA prices within prior year expectations despite all the price increases they have faced. In terms of value (price & quality), I don't think they have or can be beat since the jump to cans.

100% agree. Also, DBVSOD at $50 is the same as VSOs from the past few years. And $10 LESS than the last DB release, DBVSOJ.

Completely agree. And DB VSOD is absolutely worth it imo. Just pointing it out.

Marty believes that this DB VSOD clowns any VSOJ we've made before. It takes on a red wine complexity that's really something to taste. Then there were a plethora of money barrels that were just insane, some went into the blend to make sure it's killer, but then others were singled off for variants. Should be a great one.
