What beer are you drinking now? #4032

Guinness Extra Stout. Switched over to Oregon St. at Colorado. Colorado is back in the Big 12 or Big 16? next year, as is many west coast teams. They used to be in the Big 8. I think Central Florida is in the Big 12! Cheers!

 

Well we have an extra hour later tonight (Not AZ) so time for another. Seeing Stars from Bottle Logic .

I just got home with a beer haul. There's about to be more.

 

Never had a beer down there (just gator), though a Prairie collab w one was a fine sour. Grandfolks lived near Orlando for a while. Who we visited. Dad went to Miami high. Have a nostalgic longing for the humidity during the dryer months here in Oklahoma.

First up is a new-to-me beer. Been craving sours again, particularly goses. Something about that salt and sourness combo that just does it for me. This is really good. Better than Avery's other Gose. I'd definitely buy this one again.

 

I love Florida also. I've got a friend in Key West. Several Yuenglings at the KW VFW. My WOB card is from the store there, now closed. Jeez, I have to now go far into Wisconsin to go to a WOB, now the St. Paul location is gone. So many beer memories for me. Yuengling on the balcony of the hotel in Mytrle beach in 06' while a Benson marathon was blaring on the TV in the room.
I'm old, and have nostalgia.

Parents retired in Florida. Although long gone they loved it. Wife has an aunt and uncle who live in Cocao Beach. He is in his 90’s and still got his shit together. A Korean War vet ((what is the Korean War Mike). My wife and I would drive to Florida (Cape Coral) about twice a year to help my oldest sister (her husband had Parkinson’s and the house needed attention). Strange but youngest daughter and her husband probably gonna move to Florida from Richmond because his job requires it.

 

Haven’t seen that one, but that sounds fantastic.

Overall a yummy non-enamel-stripping sour

 

I love to fish, and love some seafood. The crazy thing is I can't stand lobster or crab. I also can't stand shrimp. I do love clams, and clam chowder. I know, I'm weird. I really hope I can go ice fishing (in the super frozen tundra) in December, but I have to deal with the busy season at work and some recovery from minor surgery.
