I did grand jury last year. Two full days a week for six months. Santa Maria!!

 

I got out of it back in 2000, and I think similar reasons would apply today, with a different company. It's just annoying as heck. I know there's no way because of my life experience, and world view I'd be accepted to a jury.

 

Everybody needs a vacation dude. Good for the soul. Good for the mind.

I hear you about jury duty. I got called for federal duty. Lasted a year.

 

Claim insanity. I think you could pull it off.

 

Come to Lake Erie and take some walleye. There are too many of them here and they’re eating the perch like crazy,

 

And Northern Pike, Crappie, and Perch, and toss in Muskellounge!

Awesome goal. That said, some folks cannot deal with not working. They die without work. I am not one of them.

Life is short dude. If working gives you purpose, keep doing it. If it doesn’t, get out and enjoy doing things you want.

 

Any Trekkies in the house? Sitting here playin' the weekly "Kirk Game" with the family. We all place bets (how many minutes into the show) it will be before Cap'n Kirk is getting his space-groove thing on. I bet 25 minutes, my wife bet 30, Thing 1 placed it at 43. So far we're 39 in and no action, Thing 1 has four minutes to win tonight's round.

That's how we roll here in Pennsyltucky, nothing better to do late on a Saturday night. All dressed up and nowhere to go.

|'ve caught all of those except muskie on that lake ( a friend has caught a small muskie there). A huge crappie kept us fed back in 22' when we didn't have our food because we couldn't transport all of the food in the seaplane, when we went to the Angle. It wouldn't have been an issue if the land border would have been open and we could have driven there. Hell, it wouldn't have been an issue if there weren't record winds and flooding on the lake, worst since the 50's.

 

Sweet! I just posted a review of this. This might be my favorite pale ale! It is absolutely fantastic! Keep ‘em coming Richmond!

 

Doubling-up on BA Stouts tonight, this one a little more straightforward. 2023 Deth’s Tar. This beer is so friggin’ good. Revolution reppin’ the Midwest with masterfully executed barrel aged beer. Canned 10/4, this is fresher than most the IPAs in the fridge.

I love this song from Dave Matthews! My brother bought me a live CD of DMB for Christmas one year when he was in college at WVU. He said that DMB used to play frat parties and bars in Morgantown when he was in school there!!
