This stout sale list is unbelievable. 2015 and 2018 SR71 for $50 is crazy.

 

How did you make out? It was Christmas x 10 for me. 3 KBBS 21', SR-71 (2015), SR-71 2018 12 oz, 2 Auroras, 2 Fluffernutters, 52 Hertz, Toppling Water. Now time to ask boss for a raise, lol.

 

That's Wild. I don't even know how to process that, or how you managed to get that. My god.

 

It really was wild and ‘a kid in a candy store’ only begins to describe it. More like Augustus Gloop in Willy wonka’s wonderland, drinking pure chocolate straight from the river of glory. I passed on a bomber of 18 SR and opted for a DB AB assassin which for me couldn’t be passed up, but that’s how good the options were. The only thing that was really limited was the 52 Hz which I think only the first 3/4 of the line or so got a single bottle of

 

I think the 2015 classified (SR-71) went fast as well, understandably so.

It's adjuncted with vanilla. I agree it's excellent.

yeah, none of the social media descriptions say anything about vanilla do they?

 

Aurora is getting some excellent reviews. I had a 4 oz pour at TG but excited to open a bottle soon!

 

So SR-71 was at stout stock in 12oz. bottles restamped CLASSIFIED SINCE 2018. But that was still 2018 vintage? I know we talked about the C&D but what of the bottle size? I thought that was always a bomber? Did they have kegs they filled new bottles with or were there 12oz back in 2018 too?

 

Black Friday is coming up. What does 2 proxies per person mean if it’s onsite only? Can someone get 6 bottles (2 for them & 4 for proxies) and how does that work?

 

No 2018 12oz bottles to my knowledge. What I can also say is TG keeps a keg(s) of most vintages especially if they we're been brewed at the new facility.

 

I saw that too and have no idea what Toppling Goliath is talking about and I don’t think they do either.

2018 came in 12 and 22 ounce bottles. 2015 was 12 ounce bottles only.

 

@brian4beer Posted some info about the bottles and where they came from in one of the trade threads. I’m sure he’d be happy to chime in.

 

Aurora is latest SR release with a new name. No vanilla. A way of trying to mess w Lockheed as they can’t send a cease and desists for something they don’t acknowledge exists after sending one for the SR.

Latest rerelease of 2015 had 36 12 oz only bottles and 2018 had about 100 total of 12 and 22 oz bottles and all were fills from 1/6 barrels Clark had in his personal cellar.

 

I think this is the best guess. I swear these were unlimited prior to them changing the wording.
