    Bent River opened in 1996, so it's been around awhile. They used to brew there, but now brew in Rock Island, IL. The original location is still open and serves food, that's where I was. They've changed hands a few times. I much prefer Wake or Radicle Effect Brewerks in Rock Island, IL. Bent River is so-so in my book. Was trying a couple I've never had from them. The Harvest Ale was decent, the Salt and Lime Lager was, like I say about most of their beer, so-so. It's weird, I rarely cross the river for beer since there's 4, soon to be 6, breweries on the Illinois side. Okay, that's enough rambling.

    I get plenty buzzed off a stick of some good weed so I'll pass on all the concentrate stuff, just not worth the additional hassle to me. Enjoy!!

    Looking delicious! :+1::yum:

    I've been testing out a good Cajun seasoning lately. I'd recommend it. Called Cajun 2 Step get the fire version for sure. I also got the dudes money dip that's also good but limited experience with it.

    That sounds good, I'll try it - looks like I can get it at Walmart. Slap Yo Mama is a good one too

    This is the one I typically us, and used today. You can increase the heat by adding some ground, dried Thai chilies. This is actually my favorite place to buy spices.

    Their Jamaican Jerk seasoning is also really good.

    Thanks - I enjoyed it, the remains will make some good chicken soup tomorrow. This is the time of year where good chicken soup is really satisfying. Cheers!

    Yes, that's the plan. My wife plans on retiring in April/May next year and that's when we'll be free to head out (Burlington 4/8 for the solar eclipse.). Cheers!!
