Sunday evenings at Tewksbury are pretty enjoyable. Seems to quiet down after about 5:45/6. The main room is great when it’s not packed. The acoustics die down a bit.

My only gripe is the bathroom. The amount of scrutiny, judgement and detailed analysis of the beers, pours and atmosphere that’s given. Yet I watched to herbs finish at the sink in the bathroom and not give 2 fucks throwing paper towels into a full (but not really full waste basket just careless half hanging out tosses) waste basket and watching it just hit the ground and walk out. Shit was a pile. And that’s just clean water after your hands are washed on the paper towel. You’re welcome, I took care of it. Took less than 4 seconds to pick up. Employees shouldn’t have to do that.

Gotta also give some love to Juice Machine Mango and Pineapple. Imagine explaining that to someone in 2014. Cracked a can of Stick Season and considering my love of Autumn this is amazing. But, a good once a year. Autumn can certainly ride out the season more sustainably. SS is a Galaxy assault, good in short,

Easy solution: One ticket per paper towel. Two ticket limit. But they're really, really great paper towels.

Or be a decent human. They don’t get tickets…

Am I remember this incorrectly, did they only offer mixed cases during covid?

You are remembering incorrectly, I'm pretty sure. They had a 1 case minimum at one point early on, that may be what you are thinking about, but your choices were never only premade mixed packs.

Not sure when this happened and sorry if I missed it in the thread, but was served my Juice Machine Mango Pineapple (amazing, btw) in Tewksbury today in an unbranded tulip glass -- just had a ml marker line on the side.

I know plastic cups vs. glassware has been a debate here, so just wanted to share. I've had dozens of pours in Tewksbury since it opened and this was my first time being served glassware. They had plastic tubs out to give people a place to return them as well.

That is correct. Early on, the selections were premade cases. That lasted at least a month or two if I recall correctly. The minimum purchase was a full case for quite a while as well.

Yeah, ignore my previous post, I forgot all about the premade cases. Mea culpa etc

Not a debate. Plastic cups are utterly déclassé.

It’s Wednesday. According to the bar staff in Deerfield, usual practice is proper glassware midweek, then go to plastic when it gets busy on the weekend.

Covid, however, is when they ceased offering single cans. Still haven’t got a clue why it’s not an option anymore, other than making it easier to move product for them.

I like to try as many different offerings as I can, since I don’t make it up that often anymore. But it’s hard when you’re forced to get a 4-pack of the core beers and even a good amount of the new releases. Only a select few hazies and stouts come in 2-packs

who knows, management there seems all over the place. They finally went back to ordering at the bar + gladly accepting cash. If enough people complain, maybe it’ll change?

even 2 packs would be a nice change

Anyone been on a Sunday recently and know if 12 is a hard start time? Stopping in en route home from NY and am realizing now I’ve timed things a little poorly.

It usually starts to slow down a little bit now that it gets cold out. However, this Sunday might be an outlier, as the week of Thanksgiving is usually pretty busy

Forgot today was Sunday. Had covid all week and been stuck inside sick as a dog. Lost track of the days!

Does anyone remember the Thanksgiving releases last year? I can only remember one positively plus a picture of it.

    Giving thanks - DIPA

I believe there was also maybe a curiosity that had the farmers porch picture with a scarecrow. I feel like I really enjoyed that one? I swear there were one or two more we bought but I have no pictures to remind me.
