I'm probably in the minority here in that I'd have liked Coconut Deth to be more coconut-forward, so as a coconut junkie, that'd still be my #1 pick. Others have beat me to it, but my #2-4 (in no order) would be Strawberry, Orange and Banana, the latter 2 based on enjoying them in BCBS variants, the former based on how much I liked Strawberry Jacket.

@BeerCruncher Does it have to be only a single adjunct?

What about Deth by Berries, and it being a medley (like Backyard Rye from GI). Single berries are harder to pull off than a medley I would think, and personally it gives wider appeal when you use more than one, because there is likely to be more balance.

or Deth by Banana (Bread) with the inclusion of not just banana, but also cinnamon

I can imagine another version with coconut + another adjunct that would be another fun take, but again it isn’t a single adjunct.

Another vote for blueberries, mainly because happy wife = happy life and she's all about blueberry beers, particularly stouts.

As much as I love strawberrries (and Strawberry Jacket), I’d be nervous about how delicate flavors like that would work in Deth’s Tar. Similarly, passion fruit and other highly acidic fruits would be tough, based on the results with raspberries.

However, if Rev wanted to hold another fruited stout night with some one off kegs I’d be willing to try them all. For science.

    My levels of interest:
    Blueberry at the top
Strawberry really close (but has been done in SJ),
Orange or Banana next tier - maybe do those as a one off keg to start

I don't particularly dig fruit in stouts, but Deth by Plums was fantastic when it was fresh. I'd love to see that one again.

Echoing some others, my ranking would be:

    Double Coconut
    Banana & Cinnamon
    Apple (Brandy)
    Orange and Vanilla
    Peaches and Vanilla

Hard pass personally on blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple, pomegranate. No offense to those who enjoy them, but I’ve never had a standout stout with those, even from some non-Rev top notch BA adjunct brewers like Bottle Logic.

So Coconut is technically a fruit for sure, but we use it as if it's not by putting the ingredient before Deth (Cafe Deth, Maple Deth, Coconut Deth). This worked out conveniently since there is a beer called Death by Coconuts that we were able to distance ours from. The "Deth by ______" have always been the more traditional fruits using in brewing and are always released alongside Deth's Tar and Cafe. There's no rules that we couldn't break that someday, I just love the consistency of the structure and naming conventions. So while Coconut Deth will absolutely come back, probably sooner than you think, I'm thinking of what you more typically think of as "fruited" stouts. Lots of great ideas here.

I think dried fruits , like figs or dates might work work well with Deths Tar. Or maybe even Deth by prunes but that does feel very geriatric.

Just promise to never do Deth by Raspberries again.

Okay, it wasn't all that bad. But for me, it fell miles short of any other fruited Deth you guys have done.

Cherry-Orange with some aged in Brandy barrels for an Old Fashioned Deth vibe.

    Cashew Apple Deth?
