First time lottery winner here, and trying to decide between Saturday and Sunday. Any advice from previous attendees? Will any pours run out by Sunday, or does TG allot a certain amount each day? Also curious if other bottles will still be available on Sunday. Thanks for any input.

Moline, IL is a nice small international airport. 3 hrs to Decorah. Does anyone ever fly there? Just curious as I haven’t seen it mentioned, so maybe it doesn’t have as many options flying in.

Huge thank you to everyone who responded to my post! As a native son of the Show-Me State, it warms me to the cockles of my heart to see fellow heartlanders remain so fantastically friendly and helpful.
Thanks for the tip! I'm going to snag one of the early sessions on Saturday.
How does on-site consumption go on release day? Do I have to finish my four pours before the end of my pick-up window?
Thanks for the recommendation! Will try to stop by either on the way down or on the way back.

I don’t think there are any rules to this. I always grab whatever lottery pick-up I’m due for after I’m done imbibing / eating simply out of convenience.

I believe they had my bottles on the counter at the bar with me when I had my pours. Paid for it all together. That was the original DBA and again at VBA + Bramble release. Not sure if if it’s changed.

MSP is a huge delta hub. Large airport. They also have “security reservations” when you fly out. I always make one, since I don’t know if it will be busy or not when I go through (you have to guess a little if you have a checked bag how long it will take you to go through that line). Also, if you have clear and TSA-pre, ask them which to go through (based on traffic at that time). Last time I was there, TSA-Pre was quicker than clear with TSA-pre. I waited 5-minutes compared to probably 15, which although not a long wait…I mean, save time where you can.

Never had to wait more than 5 min to enter the delta lounge, despite it being a huge delta hub. They also have escape lounges if you have one of the qualifying cards. In this specific airport, I prefer it, mostly due to just how overwhelming and busy (hustle and bustle) the delta one is. The escape lounge I always use is next to top golf.

When you enter the airport (for your return flight), it isn’t very intuitive or well marked exactly where to go. Unless you never have problems at airports, just allow yourself like 10 extra minutes to dick with this. Probably not an issue if you don’t have a checked bag.

Second chance, first come / first serve KBBS tickets went live on the TG website.

Edit: Now they seem to be sold out.

Snagged one - that was easier than the lottery.

Snagged one too. I’m shocked at how easy that was.

I feel the same way - my buddy got one two - so 1/4 won the original lottery, two of us won today. Shocked it went that way.

The demand for a $100 12oz bottle that you have to visit rural Northeast Iowa in December to acquire just isn't what it used to be.
