Show us you favorite stein.

Ive had this for 30+ years ,don’t know the story behind it or where it came from in my family .

 

I have it since the late 60´... You think it´s 20´-30´?

 

I strongly considered posting a picture of one of my college professors, Dr. Stein, but quickly realized not a single other person would have a fucking clue who I was talking about lol. Just where my mind goes when I hear the word stein

 

Possibly earlier; who knows

Thought I'd miss out on it since it was being sold at their event this last weekend and I was out of town. A sweet $12.99 later and it's mine

I found out they took a Top 20 Award (#3 in the article) from the Craft Beer and Brewing for 2023, its an excellent one too in my opinion! A tad of a tangent, but I love seeing locals win awards/prestige, adjacent pride if you will

 

Not attractive as so many examples here, nor functional by today's standards, but it is unique. TAPSTER Revere, Rome NY is embossed on the bottom. Made of nickel and brass, the sharp can opener is on the underside of the lid. From around 1934, right after they repealed Prohibition.
