    Back in the late '70s we caught a 16.5" crappie and took it home with the others and filleted it up. Later we found out it was the Ohio state record that year! And we ate it! Nom nom nom! :whale2:

    ...have a few pepper plants soaking up some of their last days of natural sunshine (serrano, Anaheim, and Sriracha chili peppers)...they've survived this long due to weathering some of the hard freezes in the 'Fortress of Solitude' greenhouse annex (with a bit of help from overnight propane heat)...

    ...surprisingly, I also still have some good tomatoes in paper bags in the house (tucked in my closet along with Smartwool garments and socks and a 'few' boxes of beer...just call me Farmer BeerGoot...:grin:

    Great Lakes Christmas Ale - a beer I vaguely recall being pleasantly surprised the last time I had it… probably 5+ years or so ago. My memory seems accurate in this case, as I’m enjoying this beer.

    Missed the anniversary of the inspirations for another of the same brewery’s beers recently (and don’t see the beer around here so much any more)

    ...I miss having access to Saint Arnold beers and Real Ale (this is when my parents lived in Rockport)...there's a possibility I may be in your area this coming Spring, Paul...if the stars align, perhaps we can knock back a few beers then...if not, well, I'll live vicariously through you...:grin:
