Late Night Beer Advocate--3/21/12

    So Spring continues here in SE Michigan. Celebrated this wonderful day with multiple double IPAs. Started with a DFH 120. Can't say that I'm a fan. Move on to 2 (or was it 3?) Pyramid Outburst bottles. Just a fine, fine beer that doesn't get enough love. Finished with a Founders RIS. I can't say enough good things about this brew.

    Troegs Nugget Nectar, my third case of the year. Bottled on 03/08/12. Could not be better.

    1 of the 2 bottles of 2012 KBS that I managed to find locally. Amazing what a year will do...last year was able to amass about a case when this hit town without much effort. This year stores that hadn't heard of KBS last year have lists!!! I always like to end a great day with a great beer and today was a great day! Cheers, BA'ers...

    I'm celebrating a whopping perfect score on my Greek philosophy exam with a sixer of Lagunitas' Imperial Red. I've never been much of a fan of this brewery, but this is a really nice beer: surprisingly balanced hop and malt flavors.

    Celebrated this beautiful spring day with a couple Mahr's Hell beers at When Pigs Fly Pizzeria.
    Nice crisp beer, went well with the day.

    moving on to an old bottle of avery salvation, that i will probably review (unless it's terrible, in which case i'll blame sitting on it for over a year, and not review it).
