Well for those who haven't gotten any, and want a bottle I know someone who has a few stashed at their shop and yes, you can take them home. He only has like 6 left. Password required lol and it's near downtown Houston

The beer has been aging for over a year. We're very excited about this batch. First beer racked into barrels for the Bishop Barrel series.

So, what's the expected release date and approximately how much will be released? Will it be bar release only? What's the volume compared to BB1? Finally, is it an African or European Swallow?

Release date? Don't know but soonish. How much will be released? Last I counted, about 60-70 wine barrels. Wine barrels are 59 gallons. Bourbon barrels are 52.5. We're courently doing the barrel tasting for blending.

A bit more than BB1. How are we selling? Don't know. Like I've said in the past, I'm a brewer, don't know the marketing/sales details.

European or African swallow? Depends on the circumstances. African swallows don't migrate and Europeans are too small for coconuts.

Wait a minute... suppose two swallows carried it together?

It's not a matter of where ey grips it, it's a matter of weight to thrust ratio. (I can do this all day)

One of my favorite parts in the whole damn movie.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.

I actually think it will be pretty good. SA's Christmas Ale is not as spicy as others and the subtle flavors of oak and vanilla will blend well with the spices. And then, the cherries will ad a hint of sweetness to balance it all out.

I expect it to mute the spices and impart a tart dryness. Cherries will most likely add to the tartness as well.
