I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

If we're doing price comparisons, why not care like to like? Just simplistically looking at the pure price, without a notion of how that price compares to other similar products, is worthless.

"Just looking at a beer's price on the shelf" means you'd think every BA stout is a ripoff compared to a 24 pack of Old Style.

Price comparison like-brewery to like-brewery, not really style-to-style. Let alone which beer may be perceived as good or bad.

The brewery has a wholesaler who is responsible for setting wholesale prices, as well as for supporting the brand with their sales staff. There are also retailers that can market the product for whatever price they choose. Those relationships can be complicated, and the legal framework varies from state to state. But in general, a craft brewer doesn't have much control over local distribution or pricing.

Are there a lot of other breweries are offering 4 packs of BA stout with adjuncts added in at a lower price point that Three Floyds?

You're right, and I'm done trying to make it clear.

This ^^^^. Many breweries price their beer a little bit high for carry-out at their pub so that they 'protect' the local retail stores in the same town. I don't know if Three Floyds follows that logic with the pricing at their kiosk, but that's the only place that they set the retail price. The distributors set their price based on the price that Three Floyds charges them, then the retailers set their price based on the wholesaler's price. (Unless there is some illegal collusion happening.)

Lastly, everyone sets their prices high because of perceived demand for the product, and because they can in a capitalist marketplace.

I think most of they're brews are priced reasonably. But yeah some of their BA stuff is on the high side.
