Black Friday Events in Boston?

    I was in the former Stoddards space last week (now Hobgoblin) reminiscing about some of the great Black Wednesday events there in the past with Goose Island.

    While those events seem to have gone away, are there any other events in the area to be aware of next week, Goose or otherwise?!? Wednesday night? Friday night? Next weekend?

    York River Landing Black Friday is always amazing. Epic list and low crowds. We had a blast and worked our way over to Stoneface Black Friday after the mall, for some random shit.[​IMG]

    I couldn't believe how quiet it was midday today, there were some larger crowds pre-2020. Barreled Souls also had 6-7 Bourbon County guest taps & bottles along with their stuff.

    Swung by this weekend. Apparently that was literally for just that night. Nothing was on tap and I highly doubt they blew through all their kegs on Thursday.

    While @duffman14 indicated the BCBS was last Thursday, the Lulu's draft list online indicates it's happening this week on 12/7?

    Hmm, that would make more sense. Their draft list at Lu Lu's this weekend said it happened 11/30. Weird.

    Anyone know of any other bars in or around Boston that have BCBS on tap or the variants? I saw City Tap in Fort Point has 2015 Mon Cheri on tap.

    It's amazing that in 4-5 years we've gone from multiple events in/around the city to now searching just to find a single of keg of regular and/or a variant on tap.

    Crazy right? This started last year. I couldn't find it anywhere on tap around the Boston area. I wonder if they're even distributing kegs to this area anymore?

    Yeah the draft list now says 12/7 though I swore I saw it said 11/30 last week. I guess they pushed it back but why they are not posting across social media and instead relying on people to stumble across the draft list is beyond me…

    Well I couldn’t swing by last week but now maybe I will try this weekend.

    You can swing a dead cat (who does that anyways) in the Boston area and find multiple Hill drafts now. I stopped getting them awhile ago though because they're incredibly hit or miss.

    A social media update would have been nice.

    I agree on the hit or miss. Edward to me, can be all over. Then when I had the crystal clear double Citra (won’t name where as they are a great bar) I was stumped. It was horrible. But they gladly swapped out

    I just stopped getting them. Too much good beer out there to keep taking a flyer on random drafts.
