Looking to hear of some great places to stop into on my long weekend in Raleigh. I also might venture to Asheville and Greensboro also. Breweries, bottle shops, bars, etc.

    Cheers,
    Kyle

way to be a douche adam:slight_smile:

for the lazy people, Big Boss and Roth are good for breweries. Im not a huge fan of Natty Greene's, but thats just me. Busy Bee Cafe, Raleigh Times, and Tyler's Taproom in Raleigh are good bets for bars. Bottle shops are--in this order--Tasty Beverage, Bottle Revolution, Bottle Mixx, and Bottle Shop at Tyler's.

If you get your kicks from answering the same questions over and over, then so be it!

OP: the best place is to stop at my or VncentLIFE's apartment for an awesome tasting. Just let us know when you'll be in town and we will try to make it work! (We're in Durham/Chapel Hill, by the way.)

OP, if your taking direction from Marine1975, you may end up self filling a swing top growler with Black Note in a local pub's restroom in Charlotte, so proceed with caution

I might have to clear any visits with Mrs. NCBeerFan first, lol. Seriously, though, if you're in town on Friday evening, I very well might be enjoying a brew or two at Ridgewood and would be glad to share one with you. Lots of other good places to go that've already been mentioned, but I'd definitely try to make a stop at Busy Bee...great brew selection, excellent food, and love the vibe there.

    Cheers!!

Thank you all for the suggestions! There are a few places you guys mentioned that were new to me since I was there a couple years ago.
