my usual stout but dosed half the batch w/ a vanilla bean & vodka tincture. These bottles are miles better than without.

First time using Verdant IPA yeast and made a NE hazy. Impressed with this yeast. Fruit bomb.
A west coast ipa is fermenting with that yeast next in line. Hope the pine comes thru with west coast hop choice.

West Coast are my favorite!! Although in the summer time those Cold IPA’s have been growing on me. Super clean, light and refreshing with great hop aroma and bitterness to round it out.

What's your west coast hop choice? I always liked 2:1:1 Simcoe, Chinook, Columbus.

We have a local brewery called Alliance Brewing Co. and they do one with all Centennial hops and it’s a pine bomb. I love it.

No DH? I'm sure it's got plenty of WC bitterness, but not sure you're going to get much hop flavor or aroma with that schedule.

Celebration Ale clone. Has the flavor, but missing the fresh hop “punch”

I finally got it out of primary, kegged and carbed it. Plenty of hop flavor for me.
Dryhopping it for me would lead to burnt taste buds on this one.
I'm really liking what the Verdant yeast does to it for a west coast ipa.
But, I do like SO5 for a cleaner hop taste for the style.
Not complaining though. Verdant tastes great to me.

Reposted from the cask ale thread. Citra/Nelson Cryo Pale Ale on my caskerator set up. Definitely nailed the citrus character I was going for. Cask/real ale treatment gives the beer a creamy mouthfeel. :beers:
