I really enjoyed the 60 Minute and Psycho Sue on tap last night. The 7th, Broc and Hip Hop Ref were less compelling but I just had tasters of those 3.

+1 to this. The richer ABV offerings were good, not great enough to get cans. The Pyscho and 60 Min were both great

Yes. Picked up a bottle at OHFLX a few weeks ago. Drinking now. First, IM A huge fan of Cycle’s big chewy stouts. Have enjoyed bottled as well as on site. So this brew is definitely in my wheelhouse.
Really enjoying. Very smooth. Hazelnut and BBA works extremely well. But not not really noticing coffee.

60 min is good. Worth a pickup. Tasted great straight from the can. The best thing about the beer is the long lasting finish.

tomato pie pale ale with riwaka galaxy and motueka is awesome. I give that one the edge over the psycho sue in the same Abv range.

Psycho Sue at $22/4 pack was a pass for me. Call me cheap, but I'm not paying that much for a 5.8% ABV beer no matter how many letters get tacked onto the name.

Yeesh, I didn't even realize that was the cost. I knew we weren't going to be around this weekend so I didn't even bother looking. I know I have been saying this for years, and also Tree House doesn't even do it any more, but i'd kill to be able to buy single cans or even mixed 4s of 2 different beers. I totally get not being able to do that during busy times, but offering it when its slower would be great.

Also, between traveling and how busy work has been I slept on getting a ticket the the anniversary fest thing, which sold out last weekend or whatever. If anyone knows someone who has an extra and is looking to get rid of it shoot me a DM. Not the end of the world if I can't go, but I would love to try to if I could!

Had a bunch on draft yesterday. Psycho Sue was really good. Drinks like a typical NE IPA.

    Special combo is good too.

I didn’t care much for 60 minute. Hard to tell it wasn’t just a middle of the road, old school IPA like Troegs perpetual or something. It’s less bitter than normal 60 minute.

The Vienna lager was not good.

Stopped by OH DC Sunday while in town, my opinion of the freak week beers is similar to most, we enjoyed 3/4 on draft. Only the triple - Hip Hop reference wasn't very good imo. Really liked the Foam mouthful of diamonds also.

I was kind of surprised that DC did not have cans to go of any of these just a couple days after the release. Is that typical? They had plenty of other cans/bottles to take home, we just thought that was odd.

It depends on the release but most last longer. One of the bartenders said the freak week stuff went crazy fast, specifically the 60 min cans.

I'd also say keep an eye on their site, I don't have experience at the DC location but I know things that were sold out in BK have popped back up days later. Could be orders never getting picked up or cans being brewed in one spot and then additionally shipments coming. Not sure where any of these ones were brewed, but worth keeping an eye if you did want to try to buy any.

That’s odd because they always charge Other Half prices. Maybe a mistake. Or maybe the $22 includes tax? But I agree with you, I don’t like to pay a premium for low ABV beer. Particularly since I don’t typically like it as much as higher ABV beer, and generally only buy doubles or triples. I passed on it at $20.

If you type in 10th anniversary collaboration into Untappd you can find out what the 5 collars are right now even before the insta post. I’m looking forward to the WCIPA personally.
