Bruery Holiday Card

    Just wondering if anyone else got a Holiday card from the Bruery in the last few days. I got mine today, and it's very nice, but left me wondering.

    Card came in a bubble mailer that cost them $2.29 to send, but inside was only the card. My envelope looked opened on on end and taped back shut.

    No issues for "only" getting a card. I just feel like there must have been something else in the bubble mailer. Maybe that something mistakenly cut open and fell out of the envelope and someone at the post office was nice enough to reseal it and send it on it's way.

    I found one in my mailbox this morning (hadn't checked my mail in a couple days, so not sure when it came) - it was a nice bottle opener (this style, but in black with The Bruery logo) and the card, so it sounds like yours lost the bottle opener.

    Thanks. Figured it was a lot of postage for just a card. Stinks about the opener though.

    OP, glad I saw this thread. I like you had the same thing happen, except mine was literally open, not resealed. I thought the same thing, "Wouldn't it have been easier just to mail the card?" Oh well, it doesn't bother me too much, I have an abundance of bottle openers as it is already. Hope this doesn't count as exclusive merch for RS 2013.

    Mine just came today, and considering yesterday there was no mail, I'd say everyone should have them by tomorrow at the latest. Post mark was for Dec 27th.

    wait . . . you didn't get a coupon for a free bottle of double barrel (bourbon and brandy), dry hopped, kopi luwak, grand cru blend of black tuesday, chocolate rain, and grey monday in a 3L format?

    Same with me, got the card without the bottle opener, tweeted them and they havent responded...oh well, my BC4M brother across the street got his bottle opener....at least they could acknowledge the goof

    It was an unexpected little gesture, especially considering I only just joined RS for the coming year, so I'm certainly not fussing much about the lack of bottle-opener-age, but if I hadn't come across this thread, I probably would've wondered why the Bruery spent $2 and change to mail me an X-mas card in a padded envelope...
