That's good to hear. I'm not surprised but good to have some confirmation from a fellow BA! Cheers Tom!

Enjoying a colab with Good Word and Heater Allen, a Saphir hopped pils. This is definitely fruitier than the Helles i just had but getting a nice peppery bitterness along with the light berry. Nicely done! Caught a little Sam and Dave on SXM's Tom Petty Buried Treasure show.
    Cheers!
    Tom

Awesome! You must have more nice weather days than I would have guessed to enjoy a drop top.

More Aecht Schlenkerla, this time Eiche in the glass. This is probably my favorite Rauchbier.

Spinning some Chick Corea and Return to Forever. I love these albums.

Living in Seattle a convertible is amazing about two months of the year … but I’ll put the top down in 35°F weather if it’s not raining :joy:

Enjoying a first class German style pils from Tucker Brewing Co. TKR Pilsners. Picked a 6 pack up yesterday at the brewery. A little hard to find a staight up old school German style Pils these days. This is a good one.

    1) Hop Butcher Urbs in Horto (7.5% canned 10/24/23): A NEIPA with Strata and Mosaic for flavors of ripe citrus, dank berries, and pink lemonade, hints of pine. Smooth and slightly dank.
    versus
    2) Hop Butcher Kielbasa King (7.5% canned 12/23/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Nelson for flavors of white citrus, grape, overripe berry, melon and slight floral notes. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    2) Kielbasa King:
Time for a Hop Butcher Super Bowl Sunday Battle! First is Urbs in Horto. Great Strata and Mosaic. A bit older by now and losing some of the bright Strata notes, but the rich Mosaic flavors still coming through. I really liked this one.
Next is Kielbasa King, one of their more flagship ones. Nelson and Mosaic. The Nelson adds a nice berry medley and floral component to brighten up the Mosaic a bit. Both are actually quite similar, but Kielbasa King has a bit more complexity and flavor. I think these two fresh would be an interesting comparison of the Strata and the Nelson.

I would agree with you. They are perfect style for something light and drinkable in the colder winter months.

Sometimes I try to save the best for Sunday.
