I wouldn't be so sure that Mr. Daisy messed anything up. Seems like it was always going to be a temporary deal and probably made sense to not continue past a certain point.

Definitely makes me wonder if we will hear any updates on new East Coast plans or if that is no longer gonna happen at all. Feels a bit like a bait and switch at this point, not saying it is, but the lack of information and sudden change on Mr. Daisy is definitely concerning.

    Yeah...response was a basic response.

"...Due to the high volume of orders we receive during the Reserve + Hoarders Society Cellar Deadline, we are experiencing slight delays in fulfillment time (apologies for any inconvenience). Our Fulfillment Partner is actively working on getting all outstanding shipments out ASAP..."

Not like I need the bottles immediately, or anything, but it is kind of a bummer cause usually I order a single bottle of stuff I am not sure about, or haven't had, and I have time to try it and order more of I want. If it is gonna take multiple weeks to ship, then a week to deliver on the opposite side of the country, I won't be able to do that.

I'm in CA and cleared my cellar plus some new stuff at the start of this month when allocations dropped. Took them about three days to process. Sounds like a uniquely East Coast problem. Sorry friends.

If it makes you feel better, I've been sick all month and haven't actually been able to try any yet.

Yeah, it really sucks that there is no longer (at least currently) a pick up option in DC area. I can't be the only one to put down the money for 2024 thinking that I could pick up my included beer and purchases a few times throughout the year. I don't feel like paying all the extra shipping costs so I've unfortunately stopped buying the beer.

Miss the days where I could stop by the Bruery store to not only pickup my allocations but also get access to the guest can/bottle drops from the likes of Alvarado Street, EQ, Rare Barrel, Hop Butcher, etc etc etc. Oh and an italian sub from A Litteri next door!

Was looking forward to this years anniversary fest since I couldn't attend last year. Not happy with the crazy pricing. I know its because theres an included bottled but I have plenty of bruery bottles. Even with the steep pricing I was going to pull the trigger but am I misreading that food is only included in the 280 option? Think its insane they want to charge 160 and not even provide a meal. This would be by far the most ive paid for a beer festival. With the smaller brewery list and price, not sure if im going to be going.

I'm pretty sure they've typically included food. The site only describes the VIP and Cire options. It doesn't talk about GA at all. Each tier usually includes everything from the lower tier, so wondering if the VIP doesn't mention food b/c that is included with the GA. I'm also unclear as to whether HS can still buy a GA ticket and get in an hour early.

Regarding pricing, it seems like these festivals are getting out of control as to how much it costs to host. I saw that Firestone's is up in this price range as well and that is pretty much guaranteed that it requires a pricey hotel stay as well. Seems like gone are the days of $50, or even $75 days for festivals. Such a bummer b/c there have been years where my guests couldn't make it last minute and had to eat the ticket. Hurts a lot more losing $150+ vs. $50. I also felt that since they have less outside breweries attending, it requires that they host most of the beer and that cost is direct from their pocket. At least the other breweries probably write it off as a marketing expense.

Just finished a Pass the Yams, makes me hope they release the Anniversary ale in Brandy barrels again, that’s what stuck out for me in this beer

Distiller's Box in the archive sale! w00t! (I haven't used that "word" in a very long time but it just felt right for the occasion).

I wanted to chime in here, concerning the shipment of beer. I placed an order on Jan 22nd and still have not received the order. I also emptied my cellar that same day and I'm still waiting for that to arrive too. I received emails this week that informed me of the label creation, so its getting close. My guess if you are emptying your cellar now, look for it in April.

I'm glad they are making progress, but this is kind of absurd. Not getting updates on my cellar order from early January, and then also no word on my February allotment order, has me basically on a holding pattern with them. I don't want to order anything else from them while I have a lot of outstanding beer. I feel like a proactive email being transparent about what is going on here would go a long way....

I’m actually going to be out there in late March, if only I could volunteer for a day to help them pack up and ship my stuff back to Maryland ha

Just opened Blossom's Creek, which I am enjoying a good deal. It's light, spritzy and has a nice cherry flavor---but the pricing on it is absurd and out of line with other beers of a similar style. So, this is a sour blond ale that isn't barrel-aged and has sea salt. To me, this is essentially a kettle sour goze, which is exactly what it tastes like, and which usually sells for $2-$3 a can, but they are charging $33 for 750mls of this. and, worse still, forcing some members to buy it because its included it in their membership packages. This is a beer they should sell in a 4-can-pack for $15. Wowzers!

Opened Mélange a Quad and it's pretty great! Pretty hot, but not harsh. Overall really well blended given how many things are in there. Feels very unified.

I'd describe it as very barrel forward, especially the brandy/cognac element. BT is the base that comes through most for me, but it's definitely tempered by the others - in a good way. Lighter and spritzier, but not thin or watery.

Ugh. Kinda dumb that the member choice beer is an imperial stout. The one style they already make a bajillion of. Was really hoping for something unique.

Sorry! Not that my single vote would have made a difference but maybe the mentality… I really wanted to vote for the Wee Heavy but the stout was originally only ahead of the quad by 1 vote and I did not want a quad

I was hoping American Barleywine since it's non-BA and they haven't made one of those in forever.
