    @KRBCEric Do you have an approximate date for the April release of Citra DIPA? We will be in Korea the first week of April and it’s usually released after we get back from our trip. I need to make motel arrangements. Thanks.

    I’m sure he has been lurking around. The old 2023 KRBC has been locked and nobody had started a new 2024 until now. Eric is one of few who interacts amongst us here on BA. I know of other owners who checks in, but never responds. They like to know what’s said about their own breweries. There’s a couple owners out there don’t like what I say about theirs. I say what’s on my mind. With some respect.

    Kern cans are in my fridge rotation along with GC, RiiP and Beachwood. An occasional everywhere & Radiant pickup. North Park is hard to find and way too expensive. I’ve gotta think retirement mode here soon so I want good IPA’s at a reasonable price. Kern had that for me. I do a road trip every April & November. Spring & fall are the best times to head up there. Hiking & hanging out at the Backyard Pub & Original Pub, It’s worth the 3+ hour drive.

    Citra pre-sale starts today or tomorrow once we get the online store updated. The release is March 8-10. It has been a really slow start to the year up here, so hoping we can get some people fired up to come visit.

    Right on, this was our first year canning it. Will do it again this year. We ended up chickening out on the first label design. Some of our distributors expressed some concerns...

    Citra cans (spring release) is on sale. Free shipping of course. Wish we could do half n half. Won’t make the Citra release weekend. Going to try the 2nd weekend in April after our Korea trip. Vegas is this weekend. Will be ordering a case to split with a bud.

    Sorry you can't make it, but enjoy your trip. If you wait till the pre-sales are over you can do mixed cases. It just gets hectic with canning and shipping the same day, so we don't want to deal with too many complications.

    As long as I'm hanging out, figured I'd give an update about what else we have going on in the next couple of months. We are doing another release of Perfect Balance (collab with Pure last year). We really enjoyed that beer, so we are bringing it back. Also have a collab with GOAL. Brewing lined up for April release. Derek, formerly of Moksa, is super talented and we are excited to brew with him. Another collab is in the works with a Bay Area brewery that we are really excited about. Need to hold off on saying who until it is nailed down...

    @KRBCEric I put my preorder in for case of Citra. So Citra Nectaron is for pick up at the brewery only? I would like Nectaron shipped as I cannot make it to Kernville in March.

    We have an option that contains OG citra plus but includes a 4-pack of nectaron in the case. This is an early bird only option. Did you already order the 15% off case of OG? The nectaron option does not include the discount. Email me and we can figure it out.

    If you have not checked out GOAL in North Park, you should. Derek is an excellent brewer and human.
