Local shop got a Weldwerks drop. Pretty good stuff

 

That's a great one for a flagship hazy. I've been finding that Phase Three is really dialing that style in. They don't use lactose in them, which I love. Not sure if it's that common out by you, but some of these Chicago breweries for some reason feel the need to add it to their hazy IPA's, which just makes them too sweet for my palate now. Cheers!

Enjoying 'Ol Lifewine 2022 English Barleywine from Matchless in Tumwater, WA. Wow, a lot to take in as i am getting notes of toffee, maple, and vanilla and the barrel is warming but flavor well incorporated. Definitely one and done at 15.0%. Overall rated 4.42.
Listening to some Allman Bros this afternoon, such great musicians!

1) Phase Three DDH Trio Of Stars (7.8% canned 12/28/23): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy for flavors of OJ, grapefruit, resinous tangerine pulp.
versus
2) Phase Three DDH Perpetual Sounds (7.7% canned 1/19/24): A DDH NEIPA from Chicago with Mosaic and Amarillo for flavors of fruity blueberry tea, peachy grapefruit. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Perpetual Sounds: Phase Three NEIPA Battle following @SawDog505. First is Trio of Stars. Pretty standard hops with Galaxy, Mosaic, and Citra. Standard flavors as well. A bit of OJ and grapefruit from the galaxy, but otherwise not very remarkable.
Next is Perpetual Sounds. Amarillo and Mosaic. Some great tropical flavors. Orange, stonefruit, melon, and blueberries. The flavors don't pop, but has a subtle complexity. Also drinks smooth. This is a fantastic Phase Three beer as usual.

 

Almost had one of these today. I think it's a great Czech Pils.

I'm sipping on this Farmhouse wheat beer with hops and lime juice. Can conditioned. A tasty beer.

Out front in the 68 degree sun with a 1/26 canned Jai Alai.

 

Good choice Shanex. I have that exact glass and often enjoy a nice Weiss beer in it myself.
