What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4141

In early before heading out to the further suburbs to hopefully retrieve a deeply discounted beer haul. First celebrating my youngest Nephew's six year old birthday from afar with an appropriately named beer.

Rodenbach Alexander (2022)



Somewhat abbreviated take in the Cellaruary thread. Even more abbreviated take here, this is sweeter than however old my bottle was when I first rated, without the tartness, sour and vineagar than helped balance this out, at least for my preferred taste profile.

At least as delicious as I remember! Batch #9 dated Dec 2021, served appropriately in my Jester King Snorkel snifter. Hopefully when I'm in TX this fall, I'll remember to buy some more.

This Omen Imperial Stout is quite impressive. Huge espresso notes with dark chocolate and roasted malt. Canned January 15th.

Right along here ba. Grabbed another pack of these. Still disappointed, by the lack of bitter, but a 9.5% grocery grab ain’t bad. 12/6/23,

From a delicious Imperial Stout to this, one of my favourite Gueuze Lambic beers! A 2022 and the cage twisty thing broke so it was a bit of a tussle to get it open.
