Short day of work to get in a doctor and gym visit. Wasn't cold enough for the precipitation we are getting to manifest itself into a form where I can do what this beer says:


Just in case there isn't enough green from the spruce and hops from Sleigh All Day, I poured a side of Willett rye to fill in the gap.

 

It's definitely Germanic tasting. Convincing style points and is real nice tasting IMHO. Has a pretty dry lingering finish. Just like a premium German Helles. Enjoy your trip brother!

 

Next up is The Indian Brewing Company Birmingham Lager paired with on of their Faat Naan dishes

An 8-oz. pour of Nordic Frost, a fine Icelandic Bock, and 4-packs of Brighter Than Hell and Fire & Bern(stein). Prost.

 

Having this in my Dangerous Man glass that I picked up when they were still located in Minneapolis, now that they closed that location it's a bit too far for me to visit. Raising my glass to @BeerVikingSailor 's brother Frank.

 

Time to fire up this tug boat: Boulevard Dark Crator Doppelbock Barrel Aged Lager. Hefty Hefty Hefty! What a powerhouse beer. 12.5% ABV Heavy, sweet, lots of barrel. Cheers!

Just called it quits for the day at work, relaxing now with a Union Jack IPA.

 

They don't have a taproom in Maple Lake, they just brew there for distro.

 

Good grief! Thank goodness it the end of the day Friday. Crazy busy work week.

Long Beer Friday with an old school IPA - SweetWater IPA 6.3% ABV. Lots of hops! I expect to be chilling very soon. Cheers!
