What beer are you drinking now? #4148

He was on last week. He always posted and made some of the best cocktails pics.

 

Supper salad a little later than usual. We were shooting the bull with our daughter's boyfriend that's a brewer at Infinite Aleworks in Ocala. Specifically each drinking a Head Hunter while watching Darwin's review. SN Dank Little Thing with a chicken supper salad.

I like that beer. The complaints of being sweet are warranted if youre not a frequent drinker of DIPAs for the most part. The sweet is balanced by the bitter. I don't find it massively sweeter than any other D or T IPA - they've all got their own characteristics. If youre afraid of trying it because you think it's too sweet by what others say I would say avoid it. Personally I like it. Like the hop bill as well. And it's clear. Maybe that's the confusion. Hazy NE IPAs tend to be on the sweet side and this is not a NE style IPA

I'm pretty thirsty so having a NA Trail Pass - this is probably the best one of the NA's I've tried but it's not available in my immediate locale. It doesn't taste bad and it is pretty refreshing. I think it's much better than any of the Athletic brews I've tried.

 

Having an NA beer. That is what I told my wife.

 

Scorned Lover would be a great name for a late 70s / early 80s LA based metal band. I could see them opening up for Van Halen or Ratt, perhaps at the Whisky A Go Go.

 

I’ve been relatively impressed with some of the Hop Lark NA

 

I've not see that anywhere around here. The local selection of NA brews is really pretty limited in scope. I'll check it out if I see it though. Cheers!
