I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of smaller breweries today use the same criteria. Tree House brewing says they were founded in 2011 in a red barn in Brimfield, MA.

Someone on this board can probably correct me, but they may not have started commercially selling beer until they were in Monson.

Anywho, the event itself was well run and super fun. Really glad I went on a rainy Saturday with nothing better else to do!

Oh, yeah - it's pretty much a tradition in the brewing industry. This is one of my current favorites:

... of course, there have been quite a few different "families" that have owned the brewery at that location over the years:
Bessinger, Knipschilt, Ruegger, Hefty, Blumer, Huber, Smith, Berghoff, Huber (again), Royko and finally Minhas.

I bought many a growler from the original spot in Brimfield. The tree house was there and all.

They 100% were selling beer in the barn in Brimfield. I fell asleep on that couch waiting and still have the growler. I believe I got Curiosity 5 there as well. I do not miss those days there haha

Are you just looking to be argumentative for some reason? Legit curious why you are challenging this so much.

Legally? Or just homebrewing stuff and selling it?

I would assume it was legal since there would be a line and tons of people there. I remember a POS station as well. I was stuck waiting for like two+ hours. I somehow got lucky and got a seat waiting. I believe I went more than once. Then it moved to Monson 1.0

Brimfield days were the free peanuts days, right? Good times.

It’s two blocks from the orange line.
