I just put some corned beef on in the Instant Pot - in the meantime, having this unattractive mid afternoon beer. It's tasty enough, just looks like a glass of Tropicana orange juice to me.

1) Drekker Hater Blockers (8.0% 6/27): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Sabro, Mosaic and Citra for flavors of sweet tangerine, melon, sweet hop burn)
versus
2)) Drekker Metaphase (8.2% canned 2/27/24): A NEIPA from North Dakota with Citra & Nelson Sauvin for flavors of lemon and orange citrus, green citrus and juicy pine. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner:
2) Drekker Metaphase: Drekker NEIPA Battle. Sabro vs Nelson. Good to get some fresh Drekker again. First is Hater Blockers. Showcases the Sabro here with some green guava, melon, and tropical pineapple and coconut notes. The Sabro has a unique flavor and it's here in this beer. Sort of paint-like, phenolic. Love it or hate it, but I like it.
Next is Drekker Metaphase. This has quickly become one of my favorite Drekker IPAs. Nice Citra and Nelson balance. White grape, citrust zest, a little sweetness off the finish. In the end, I'm gonna pick Nelson over the Sabro, but I'm enjoying the differences in these hops and Drekker shows them both well.
