Not bad, but I need more to drink that on gameday.

 

Only Hamm’s for me today was from cod leftovers (from the fish batter). I think I’m down to 15 cans, so only defcon 3.

 

Back to another Boulevard Nutcracker Ale. Blues lost, Cardinals lost, Mizzou is about to go 0-18 in SEC play and St. Louis City is losing 2-1 to Austin. Tough sports day.

 

Foo Fighters. Beer. Bacon burnt ends. Penguin PJs. 10/10 A post of the year candidate! We’re not worthy!

On to this one. As a practicing WCIPA fiend, I always look forward to what has seemingly been a yearly Beachwood Brewing drop in our area. Their beers vary each year but this one is always included and is a must purchase for me. Cheers.

 

It was good but not great. More bitter, burnt peat than fruit. But I love the style and commend any brewer that makes it!

Such a great IPA! We received limited distro in New Jersey for awhile but it wasn't fresh. I was fortunate to have it at the brewery in Cincinnati and it was fantastic!

I had to cap that King’s Court for tomorrow. Let’s see if some oxidation helps it. If not, BA Wham Whams is a better double barrel coconut vanilla option.m, though Inwish Prison City would rotate out the 4 Roses.

On to a Lough Gill BA Trinity. Much better. More refined and skilled barrel use to support the stout.

P.S. Tina’s frozen burritos (hot beef or bean and cheese) are unbeatable options as beer snacks. $0.79 plus tax, 35 seconds each side one the microwave. Oh yeah.

 

I think @Holistervildercamp was referring to the genealogy research (or maybe both!).

Living here in Cincinnati, and the fact that they self distro...it's typically one of the freshest beers that I can find anywhere and everywhere!

Great minds…wasn’t feeling that one earlier though.

 

Snake River -Cross Czech Pilsner - a new beer for me and one that I like quite a bit. A bit of sweet white bread and mild hop makes it eminently drinkable. And is it regional from Jackson Hole up in Wyoming.
