Good afternoon, everyone. We've had some beautiful weather this weekend, I've gotten quite a bit of work done, and now sit on the back deck enjoying a refreshment, contemplating whether I really want to change out the burners on the grill or not.



I had my last bottle of Guinness Foreign Extra last night, so today's choice is this fabulous Pilsner from Schilling.

Playing in the background is the False Lankum album. Slainte!

 

Stopped at Free Will Brewing on the way home from a short hike to enjoy the nice weather this afternoon. I am of German heritage, but still figured it was appropriate to order a pint of The Morrigan, an Irish Red Ale for St Patricks Day

Good St. Patrick's Day afternoon, everyone! I've been swilling beers while binging on college hoops for the past 3 days. And congrats to NC State on the amazing achievement of a 10-seed winning 5 games in 5 days, including knocking out Duke and Carolina. The Wolfpack deserves to dance this year. I'm sipping on this BA Stout brewed by Other Half and J. Wakefield from Miami. Lots of adjuncts: almonds, cocoa nibs, and coconut but they pulled it off. Cheers!
