Made it to Mürren, Switzerland after quite a few trains and a gondola. Cute little town in the Swiss alps! Here's a pic from the hotel.

Grabbed a can of Swiss beer from the Co-Op. Quöllfrisch Naturtrüb from Brauerei Locher. A really nice kellerbier. Prost!

Back out in the courtyard with beer, book, and pupper. There is probably only two months left of really good weather around here, before it gets into the 100's ha, so taking advantage.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the glass.

Moe looking bored because its just me out here, none of the fun neighbors this time

"Happy" Monday to all.... today's one and done and new to me is this little collab beer.
Parish/Equilibrium's MC Ghost DIPA. Less than 3 weeks old and it doesn't suck.

    Thoughts:
    4.35/5 rDev -0.5%
    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25
L - Solid golden hazy orb of a beer; interestingly, not much foam or lace going on. Huh.
S - Some murky, indistinct, citrus with overtones of rich tropical fruits, grassy notes, and definitely some weedy overlay.
T - Good, solid, beer, but a bit hollow once past the rich core of fruit density. Not many secondary or interesting complex notes here. Still good, but...
MF: Solid, but a bit thin for my taste given this is an 8.5% beer - I would have expected just a TAD more CO2 applied here; probably would have kept it livelier for both more head, and more body on the palate.
O - no complaints here, really, but given the breweries, I kinda... expected something with a bit more character and "oomph" on the nose and palate.

Had a great walk on a rest day from running, with Ann, seen here contemplating both sides of our backyard: memories of the last storm, and the sun-side future gardens. She's got big plans.

    Cheers, all!

Clearly a "gimmick" beer that doesn't really drink like a beer or a cocktail. Meh.

Jai Alai and shopping, the best/worst thing is they're located about 6 miles from our house.
