    I just stopped at the third jab and booster re covid vaccines. No big side effects beside a sore arm indeed for the three. It’s barely talked about anymore and we don’t see much people wearing mask anymore either. If efficient I guess better safe than sorry.

    Bauhaus Wonderstuff (5.4%): A Czech-style pilsner from Minnesota that lemon, bready and salty flavors.

    One of my favorites and starting to become my go-to Czech Pils. Bready and salty. A little lemon with some traces of bitterness. Real smooth. A great Czech Pils to try if you're near The Cities. I keep coming back to this beer.

    So far, I have been lucky enough to have not contracted Covid to my knowledge - at least I have never tested positive for it. I've had every booster so far and prefer to ante up for the next 6 months. I don't want to go back to wearing a mask, but I have noticed a lot more folks wearing masks lately - maybe because of the increased threat of the flu as well as Covid.

    For me, I've had it with masks and will only wear one if mandated for whatever reason. Here's a flashback to one of my earlier Covid tunes :slight_smile: Had to make lemonade out of lemons.

    I probably contracted it back in summer 2022 from missus but got a very mild one, sore troat and a mere cough, I just lucked out.

    In TMI and different health issue; the stomach flu is a pain in the ass recently here. Won’t go in details but plenty of people got it, wash your hands all!

    Ah yes - the notorious Norovirus - that was going around here in the states as well. Highly contagious, but at least relatively short lived.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

    Medium brown, crystal clear pour, clear, dark mahogany red color in the glass; excellent carbonation; thick and frothy head, somewhat rocky and semi-creamy; sticky rings and globs of foam cling to the inside of the glass. Very nice roasted grain scent; very mild hint of sweetness. Outstanding taste; sweet, roasted grains, roasted nuts; caramelized sugars; low-key bitterness. Medium body; slightly sticky with a velvet-like quality; residual sugar sweetness nicely offset with a bit of dryness.

    Red Leg nailed this beer style. The ABV nearly reaches the doppelbock level while the flavor and mouthfeel are rich and robust. Even the smell is really nice for the style. The fine people at the brewery tried to save me money by offering me a six-pack over the crowler, but not having tried the beer, I opted for the big can. I now definitely will be back for that six-pack!

    ...picked up another Red Leg German-style beer yesterday, too: Schwarzbier...I'd say the brewers at Red Leg know their stuff...
