    Hello,
    An unsolicited post for @Ander_ground.

He’s interested in Heady Topper, and is in negotiation of a non-Beer Advocate trade, basically cash for beer. He’s new to trading and not sure about whether the price to complete the deal ($85 for two 4-packs) is reasonable (maybe, at $20 per 4-pack from a non-VT-local trader + packaging + shipping…).

Alternatively, if someone has done international trades, maybe they could offer him some advice on how to do it through BA. I’m told he has access to yellow beer goodies like Cantillon, and probably others, so I’m just posting this call for info and maybe get someone connected with him.

    Cheers!

If the $85 quoted is for the beer and covers shipping, that's honestly not a bad deal considering its international. My only recommendation would be to check out PirateShip for shipping rates because they may be cheaper.

To ship from US to Italy i use Shippo, recently i paid 65$ for 22lb ( six bottles), and 90 for 20 small bottles, shipped with Fedex. It's not that though, it's just needed to pack safely and declare the right things for customs

Question here... Been a minute since I've done an international trade but prepping to get a box out right now. Previously I went through parcel monkey for a FedEx international priority shipping. Tried to do the same but I'm only seeing UPS, USPS and DHL options. I prefer FedEx so was wondering anyone has a good discount site I could check out where they would be listed as an option.

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers!

Last I knew, Shippo will ship through FedEx. This could have changed since I last used it though, been awhile

I’ll check it out… I always thought Shippo was for small businesses. Didn’t know individuals could use it as well. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, there is a drop tab that allows you to switch between a business account and a personal account when setting up your initial account information. If you have any issues setting an account up, reach out as I am always happy to help

Thanks to everyone, especially to @micada

I had no idea this post exist, so embarrassed.

I finally didn't close the trade, just because as some of you said it looked like a really good deal, maybe too much and didn't know anything about the guy was supposed to send me the beer.
I'm not sure if I should trusted him.

hey guys, I'm new to this place and really confused. Could you give me a hint how can I find somebody (trader?) who can get some cans and send it to me overseas?

Post what you’re in search of (ISO) and what you have for trade (FT) in the “Limited” thread in this trading sub forum.

Something to keep in mind… Shipping internationally is incredibly expensive. The majority of international trades I see and participate in are for rarer bottles so finding someone to ship cans might be tricky.

    Good luck!
