This is a very dry IPA with very much oral vibrancy. Cheers

Crosstown Brewing 74 and Sunny West Coast IPA



Dark gold color with small white cap.

Aroma of sharp resiny hops that completely cover the malt.

This IPA presents with a big and I mean impressively big hop flavor. Somebody used the large hop scoop with a heavy hand to brew this one. I prefer more balance but this should strike a cord with the hop fans out there. It is tasty in it's way that both drinks and finishes clean and crisp.

Full texture with balancing carbonation.

I've never chewed on a fresh hop cone but this is how I imagine it would taste. At 7.2% ABV this brew has substance and needs a strong dose of hops to offset the malt but not quite this much.

 

A 7.7% DIPA apparently. Nice enough, nothing special.

Worth a try.
Not the best , but instructional. Would you be interested , when the time comes?
I have an ornamental hop , Summer Shandy , with sort of an old-school, catty/dank/green onion/pine profile.
I drop the occasional cone into beers that are bland, or past prime.
Can't promise anything, as it doesn't flower every year (not enough sun anywhere here) , but I'd gladly send some.

Sun just came out , as did the snow flurries .10th straight day (snow, not sun ), but it is pretty .
At least the ground was already warm-ish, so not @SawDog505 level of snow.
