Fahr availability in Alberta/Saskatchewan

    Going to be staying a night in Calgary in April on the way to Banff & I was hoping to stop at the Fahr taproom or at the very least try some Fahr beers on draft / buy some cans to go in Calgary. May have to skip the taproom due to time/other plans - any advice on best options for draft and/or cans to go in or near Calgary? Would love to try/pick up their Hefe, Copper, Pils, and Munich if possible but not sure if it's around a bunch of places/plentiful, or if its more sparse/sells out quickly?

    I assume the taproom and/or in or around Calgary will be my best bet but if anyone can advise if Fahr beers are available in other parts of AB or SK that'd be great as well! We'll be taking the Trans-Canada Highway from around Regina/Moose Jaw, driving to Calgary, then on to Banff (staying a night each most likely in Moose Jaw, Calgary, then 3 nights in Lake Louise). Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated!

    PS always love to hear ideas about other must stops when I'm traveling somewhere new too so please fire away if you have any! Beer (lagers in particular but not a must), pizza, Indian food, or ???

    Hope you enjoy your trip!

    You should have no trouble finding most current offerings from Fahr. The Co-op liquor store near me always has them. The Hefe from Fahr is the best I have had outside of Bavaria!
    The Kensington Co-op liquor is great!
    Other than that Willow Park is amazing, Oak and Vine is good.
    What part of town are you gonna be in?

    Thanks! Probably downtown. Want to check out Tailgunner and it'd be nice to be within walking distance.

    Fahr beers on tap anywhere??

    I don't know if Fahr is available on tap anywhere but its readily available at pretty much any beer store where I am! Hope that helps!

    Im guessing this reaches you a little late, but I really liked the lagers at Establishment when I was in Calgary last year. Lots of good true to style Czech and German styles. Easy in and out for some cans too if time is tight. Cheers!
