[IMG] This is very tasty and new to me. Let’s go.

Poured into a 16 oz Nordic Pint glass canned on 3/25/24. Pours a very attractive milky yellow with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin streaks of lace with excellent nice retention. 4.5

Aroma is peach, mango, passionfruit, slightly dank, and apricot. 4.25

Taste follows peach, passionfruit, mango, papaya, a little gonja, and apricot. 4.5

Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 8.2% plenty of flavor and very easy to drink. 4.5

Overall this is impressive stuff. I know very little about them, but really good stuff. 4.5

Gnosis Fertile Green DIPA (Amarillo/Mosaic). Saturated with hop character with a soft feel. I really like this one.

Over the moon that Von Trapp finally made it to SW Pennsylvania. Having their Vienna Lager for the first time.

I think I prefer the old cans, but the beer is still great. Can’t beat a reasonably priced mix pack with Vienna Lager, Pilsner, Helles, and Kolsch. Gonna be my new go to. Cheers!

Moving on from the Hopcelot. I really can't say I'm a big fan of Hopcelot - I find it really one dimensional, it's plenty hoppy but there's no balance to it. It needs a bigger malt presence to even things out - I'll finish the 4 pack but likely won't be buying more.

Moving on to Tilted Barn Milo's Phoenix which looks like weak orange juice. I seem to have developed an aversion to juicy, NEIPA style beers. This is another one that I will finish up but won't buy again.

Yep, I love the original version. But I also love the Hendrix version too. As much as I love it, it's sad that the Hendrix version overshadows the original. Cheers!

I agree. I like all versions but the Hendrix version is my favorite.

...it is so good to be back home, cooking food and drinking beer and spirits in your own environment instead of a less than ideal road warrior setting...grilled flank steak (vacuum marinated with Mrs. BeerGoot's simple marinade paired with baked beans and basic lettuce salad)...

    Good evening BA
Hit it a little hard this weekend, so I took yesterday off from alcohol. Today's work day says I deserve one

Pouring one out for Joe Flaherty who passed away earlier this week. Activate Smell-o-Vision. He made me laugh many times when I discovered SCTV as a kid.
