I agree with you on the Hopcelot - I found it to be really one dimensional - yeah, it's hoppy, but there's no counterbalance to the hoppiness. It's not a bad beer per se, but not one that I would call excellent.

I think I’ve said this before but this one may be my favorite of all of them.

 

An English Dark Mild from Flipside Brewing, Haunted Past. Lots of caramel malty flavor from this 3.8% brew.

I think we expect more from Lawsons’s, when they make a beer that’s just good, it’s kind of disappointing. If that makes sense.

Opener and closer for this beer noob. Almost the entire can was left over from our bottle share the other night with @PhineasMcClintock @Knapp85 A little late in the evening to be downing a 17% flat beer but it is what it is. This booze bomb is some impressive shah!
