Birdfish Type O+ Blackberry Lime Gose, 4.7% - a delicious, puckering sour! Cheers!



-Look: Hazy berry-colored with a thick meringue head that lasts for days.
-Smell: Berry and citrus, slight funk, fruity-sourness.
-Taste: Whoa! Here's the blackberry and lime sour, a hint of salt - delicious.
-Feel: Puckering and slight eye-squint, medium-thin and fast, refreshing sourness.
-Overall: Fantastic blackberry and lime Gose - highly recommend this sour!

It's one of the best Bigfoots i have had

Usually feel like people are full of shit when they say old Bigfoot is good, but this was great.
Not sweet at all, hops were still somewhat present, smooth finish and still had some carb , too. Tasted like an old IPA in a good way.

Dogfish Head SeaQuench Gose, 4.9% - a tasty and thirst-quenching sour! Cheers!



-Look: Hazy light golden with a thick frothy head.
-Smell: Bright lime zest and citrus, light spice.
-Taste: Delicious lime and citrus, sea salt, mild spice and wheat.
-Feel: Twangy zesty citrusy-tart, slight puckering, clean and fast.
-Overall: Tasty and thirst quenching, tartness is just right - fantastic!

 

Another warm cloudy day with a ton of wind. Did a small bike ride and just watched a Belgian win Paris-Roubaix at the womens race. Now beer time.

 

One of my personal favorite beers. No adjuncts, just a barrel aged RIS. This is the '16 Heaven Hill Blackbeerd, the last year that COAST did the BA Blackbeerd series, hoping they start it up again, especially in their new spot. This line of ba stouts used to pull some big weight on the trade pages here. Cheers y'all!



Oh yeah, and we had to cancel our meet yesterday, due to heavy snow... in April... gotta love Utah
