    1) Fair State Strong Friend Moves (4.5%): A German Pilsner from Minnesota with flavors of crisp noble hops and pale malts. Clean and dry.
    versus
    2) Toppling Goliath Pils (5.5%): A German Pils from Iowa with flavors of lemon citrus, pale Munich malt, yeast and flower. Clean and moderately bitter. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Fair State Strong Friend Moves:
A German Pils battle. First is Fair State Strong Friend Moves. I've had this for a few years now and it's great every time. Hoppy and light at 4.5%, still with strong flavors. A great Spring/summer pilsner.
Next is Toppling Goliath Pils. Very similar flavors, but slightly larger at 5.5%. A bit heavier too, but overall similar.
Really enjoy this crisp German Pils from Fair State, as if their pilsner game wasn't strong enough.

Mid afternoon Guinness. Kind of stuck in the house waiting on FedEx to deliver a package that requires a signature. Original estimated delivery between 10 am and 2:30 am, but now they just changed that to before the end of the day - that translates to you're our last delivery and we won't be by until around 7 pm.

Happy Saturday all. I am now married. A few best friends from high school showed up with my closest family. Better pictures are coming. One of my hs friends is a professional photographer  we got the keepsake license done in the car and plenty of pics in front of the McKinley monument. At lunch at bravo :sunglasses:

Chimay Blue after quite a day, we visited the Garden and Home of Claude Monet in Giverny, Normandy. Unfortunately I can only share one photo beside that of the beer:

NBW cross-post. Eagle Park Brewing Bowie's Space Suit HBC 630. A hazy IIPA with Citra, Galaxy, and HBC 630 hops. Eagle Park Brewing is the premier hazy IPA brewer in Wisconsin. I met up with @Danmullens1 for this release, but have not tried it until now. This is an exceptional beer. I hoped to meet up with @superspak at this brewery next month before Milwaukee Metalfest, but he won't be available, since he got married today! Congratulations, Ian and Julia! You guys have a special connection, that can be immediately felt and understood! One that most people hope to experience with a partner!

Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Classic. Produced one day every year (6th of December). Still it is a supermarket beer here in Austria. I guess most people just buy it once a year. A somewhat unique beer (at 14% alcohol by vol) in the spectrum of German / Austrian beers.
@champ103 I found Thomas Bernard, as you can see (I read and speak German). Thanks again for mentioning this writer !
    Cheers All!
