A very dry beer I would suggest is Jever Pilsner.

    Prost!

One of my faves!! Plus I've been seeing it fairly regularly in the last year. Cheers brother!

I was never a fan, so take that into consideration, but I remember feeling insulted by that come on line. My interpretation of the marketing line was "who cares if it tastes like shit. Distinctions like that aren't important. Drink Bud dry to show the world you're too tough to care..."

I couldn't believe anyone would want to brag about having that kind of mindset, and then try to market a beer based on that sort of attitude. Of course over the years AB has done quite a few things that, ahem... surprised me.

Thanks Jack. Not sure I've ever mentioned this before, but I love all things involving InBev-AB, especially their "light" iterations. So good and so flavorful, despite the reduction in calories. And they're so open-minded and helpful when it comes to other breweries in the industry, especially those in the so called craft sector. I could go on, but I think at this point you can probably understand my deep, unabiding affection for all things AB. Did you know Budweiser is often called the king of beers? Such an appropriate moniker for such a great beer!

How am I doing so far? :-)

That was definitely the ad slogan - stuck in my head since then… Always my response when the kids ask me “why ask why?”

Czech Bud (the original) is a fine beer. The US name-sake I wouldn't buy if it was the last on the shelf. Just my 2c,
