    Phase Three Perception of Depth (6.5%): A Brown Ale from Chicago with flavors of brown bread, toast, strong nuts, with a light roastedness. Dry and clean.

    First try at this Brown Ale from Phase Three. Like the style this time of year. Pours beautifully. Aromas are spot on. Brown bread, toast, strong nutty notes. Finishes with a slight cocoa and coffee roast. Pretty dry and clean too. These Brown Ales drink pretty well on a dreary, rainy, and cold Spring day.

    Moat Mountain Blueberry Ale - refreshing on this Sunday afternoon. This morning a took a buzz out to the Cascades in Worcester MA - beautiful place. First time I've seen it when the water was really moving - most other times we've been in a state of drought.

    Enjoying a lovely from Schilling, this is so good! Yesterday was up at SNBC Mills River for the first Alpha Hops Society party of the 2024 AHS season and ran into @SierraTerence and Brian Grossman. The guy on the right is my buddy Don from our local tasting group.

    Does look pretty, as for drought they better not mention any of that if anything this summer as we’ve been having nothing but rain those past six months. I don’t complain too much about it if we need it, also yes the photos we may take of some places don’t always do Justice to them. Cheers, and thanks for your comment in yesterdays thread about my visit to Claude Monet home.

    A new-to-me beer: Mas Fuego, the DIPA version of Tonewood's flagship. For the Imperial version the brewery added Chinook. This is very good! I just reviewed it on the NBW thread. Cheers, all!

    Kindof off topic but wanted to show that Mr. Wind had my address last night. A few weeks ago, I told the landlord about some slapping siding, but not to this extent. See the 8 foot section of siding in the lower right quadrant of the first foto? Insane noise of slamming like a giant hammer until about 1 am when it broke off.

    And here is the aftermath this morning.

    On another note, what a game. :grin: Beers later.
