What beer are you drinking now? #4191

Sawyer 100LL Gold Label BBA Imperial Stout, 10.5% ABV. I rated this 4.02 in February. I rated the non-add-junk variant 4.42.

Had to break into it with a knife, damn plastic. One of their other beers had real wax, real easy to open.

Home after a great 3 day road trip with my students... cheers, all!

Well today was the date of measure for how well my aging car battery's life was extended via a battery tender. Yesterday the back door was not fully closed after unloading groceries so 2 hours may have gone buy prior to me finding out. Didn't think about the dome light being on all that time.

Went to start the car to go to the park and boy it struggled, drove there then got an omen, my house keys fell off the key ring, so I tried starting the car again to go back home, cuz you do not disregard omens, haha. No dice, dead as a door nail. Lucky for me a cool guy playing a conga had a jumper and I was off.

Back home battery tender on for a while and it says fully charged. Not to ignore the omen, I drove straight to Wally World. I had already done research more than a yr ago on a cheap yet reliable battery. Sure enough when they tried to start to pull into the bay, no go.

So the stats, battery lasted a total 6 yrs and 2 months and the tender kept it going even with damaged cells when I had to add more than 1+ cups water a year and 2 months back. Let's see if I can baby this new one for 5+ yrs.

@woodchipper i noticed a manic mushroom theme on the can: In pharmacy school in the 80s it was widely standard to try many drugs, and I will say I’ve never had mushrooms. I suppose if I had a Sonos System I might blow my mind,,,, prolly like this video
