Good morning/day BAs! Took yesterday off as a cleanse day. Morning chores done, it’s coffee time - KBS:



Bottled 8/1/23. Poured at 52°. A little on the bitter roast side, otherwise bourbon and chocolate as beer continues to warm in my glass.

Cloudy and mid 70s forecast today. I’m going through boxes of photos and ephemera in multiple folders left behind by my mom. Last night was an accordion full pics of mom and her kin from the early teens to the 1990’s.

Night before was photos and material re: her Dad’s service aboard the USS Pasadena as an original crew member 1944 - 1945 which saw action in the Pacific. The Navy let him enlist at age 36 and his mates called him Pops.

Glad Florida passed Boston to win the Adams Division yesterday (No offense @mickyge - Hope your Bruins send Toronto golfing). Hoping Vegas can pass Nashville in one of the remaining meaningful NHL final games before the playoffs begin Saturday.

Rare all sports 24 hours for me after NHL games last night with a Sox Doubleheader on tap after a likely stop at 35th Street Red Hots. Still miss Comiskey Park - The Real One. Ditto Stade Olympique, Tigers Stadium, Milwaukee County Stadium, Yankee Stadium II and Shea Stadium.

Today’s box of folders consists of cancelled checks, receipts and documents from ma’s home based jewelry business in the ‘90s, year by by year. It’s all going to the dump. I’m up to 1994…yeeesh…glad I’ve got a fridge full of beer - Cheers y’all
