    Revisiting a Great Lakes Edmond Fitz after I wasn't too impressed by it almost a year ago. It's a little better this time around, but I don't get even comparing it to Founders Porter. Not in the same realm! Founders Porter has a complexity to it that this is missing.

    It finally fell off. I have been drinking 2007's every year or so for a while and this is the first one not better than the last. It's not a mess, but is basically a very muted chocolate stout with a little sweetness in the nose and not much in the taste. Still fairly good, but last year it was very good.

    Wow, Libbey is making a killing right now. Bell's has apparently switched to this glass as well. So by my count, the breweries now using this style of glass (either 13 oz. or 16 oz.) includes Bell's (replacing Sahm), Founders (replacing Rastal), Cascade, Avery, Half Acre, Pipeworks, and Hoppin Frog. I've had the unbranded version of this glass (they refer to it as their Belgian beer glass) for at least a year now, and I truly believe that it is one of the most versatile glasses I've used. In fact, my buddy is turning his basement into a sports bar (it's an unbelieveable three year project) and my gift to him is going to be a case of these glasses that have been custom-branded.

    Had a Moon Man with dinner, then met Mooseboose for a quick in person trade of a couple brews, had a Leinies Imperial IPA followed by a couple SN Tumblers.... Many more in the next couple days as my local store is clearing them out for 7.99 a 12.... Not as good as Paulaner Octoberfest for 4.99 but still amazing price. Cheers everybody have a good night!

    I'm currently drinking a 12.12.12.......INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEE flavors on this. One of the craziest tasting beers I have ever had.
