Maibocks in CT - On The Lookout

Hello! Maibock season is my second favorite beer season and it is definitely upon us!

If you're drinking around CT and see a maibock on tap, please post it here! I participated in the draining of the Abita Mardi Gras bock at Elicit, but now that's gone, I'm looking for something local (or German, or whatever!)

Same if you see something worth sharing in cans/bottles (the Ayinger I'm seeing is still last year's)

yeah, this is older than that.. but then again my local store isn't some beer wizard lair. they still also have ayinger ofest.. may 1st is day 121, which makes it easy to remember when you're out there!

but yeah, more maibocks! i've heard that bbc's is up to par this year, keeping my eyes out for that one...

Harvest in West Hartford had OEC maibock cans. Dude said maibocks don't sell there, he has some ayinger otw and that's probably it.

I'm actually headed up north this week, will check T&V, unless you're telling me its a metro-area thing.

Willibrew has their Maybock on tap, but I haven't been able to try yet.

Also, Dead Language in Hartford is doing a whole MAIFEST. Sat., May 18 @ noon, release of May Queen beer, not sure what else, doesn't look like there's a charge just come as you are.

 

table and vine did not have it. my buddy said he saw it up in northampton at that little bottleshop that looks like a house, the name of which i cannot remember. didn't drive up that far.

baystate and hofbrau maibocks were on tap at student prince tho so the trip wasn't a total bust
