Interesting  To my surprise I could read (and understand) the French text completely.

However I would like to suggest just moules et frites (mussels and fries) for any beer pairing in Flanders (and Belgium too, over all you get great mussels as far inland as the German border in Belgium, because it is national dish).

    Santé

I've been to Julianadorp for a week. Also visiting Den Helder, Alkmaar and Amsterdam. Had some Uiltje beers (including yours) and I loved them! Never really paid attention to them, I think I had 1 or 2 before but didn't notice. Seems to be a great brewery

Also saved this can and I don't know if it's objectively good but I do enjoy it everytime when I visit your country

    Prost!

Awesome! My family is from Den Helder and Juliandorp originally  I know the places and beaches very well. Good to see you found some good beers. The shop in Julianadorp has a nice selection I remember from a couple of months ago.
Uiltje is rather outstanding in making fresh beers here in NL. El Patron is one of their classics they keep in rotation.
Jopen (also from Haarlem) is different but good too. The were producing 'craft beer' before it (or the name) was invented. Jopen also brews historic beers, like from the middle ages etc.
    Cheers!

Sun is out after days of rain. The ground is soft, so I'm digging post holes for our garden gate.
The beer is 11th Hour IPA from Crow Peak Brewing.

Crappy, wet and cool today, so I'll celebrate with a "sessionable" stout

Moving on to the floral notes.
Still cannot understand how they make this beer without using actual flowers.

There are some songs out there labelled "tripple trouble".
Forgive me for not being quite consistent,
I like Stevie R Vaughan more then techno house shit.

Will drink a double soon in his honour.

Cheers! Way to crack open the bar, Shanex. I'm currently cursing God for creating ticks and poison ivy. But this beer is a dandy... actually the best of the 4 variety pack...and I'm not too crazy about hazy.

Will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Reds, between our trips to Kings Island, Riverfront Stadium (including the final game there - didn't have a chance to also attend the Pete Rose Softball Game the day after) and WKRP, perhaps the GOAT TV show of all time. Hope MLB will one day be run by people who actually love the game, and the First Opening Day Game will return to Cincinnati where it belongs for all eternity.

Weather cleared here about the same time for a walk to the Dollar Tree store and back including a bag of chips for lunch time fun time. One beer vs. three yesterday, but it feels like three because of the depth. I try to space these out so they feel special, because this is one of my favorite beers in the world.

    1) Weihenstephaner Helles (4.8%): A German Helles introduced in 2020 for refined flavors of yeast, barley malts and a crisp and clean finish.
    versus
    2) Weihenstephaner Original Premium (5.1%): A German Helles with flavors of smooth bread malts, earthy notes, yeast, and smooth. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

    Winner:
    1) Weihenstephaner Helles:
A Weihenstephaner Helles Lager Battle. First is their newer Helles that is lighter than The Original Premium. Milder aromas, but the flavors are nearly identical. The Original Premium has slightly more earthy notes, but doesn't drink quite as clean or smooth. These were difficult for me to tell apart and I might be able to differentiate them better once they warm a bit. If the flavors remain identical, I like the drinkability of the newer Helles.
