Just noticed an update on the 3 Floyd’s site

“If you miss your group time, you can pick up your bottles in a later group. Deluxe ticket holders may pick up their bottles in any group. PICKUPS WILL CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 5PM.”

 

I suspect that means the line closes at 5pm. I can’t imagine they turn people away if any are stuck waiting in the bottle pick up line and 5pm strikes.

 

I tried to skim the thread to find this... but do we have an official gates open time? Is it just 9:00 with the first pickup window?

 

The food line was horrible (food was great though)

Main Entrance opens at 7am.

Got it - so basically just have to get into the holding area before 9 to make sure you get a decent spot under the tent.

 

Not looking good for DLD with terrible weather projected. The latest weather report has sunny and 80 degree temps for the Dark Lord to smite all the pasty white neckbeards to a crisp.

 

Last year was incredible. Absolutely perfect weather. This year about the same with a little more humidity though.

Pretty much. The tent was not nearly as wild and crowded last year as it was in 2019. There was still plenty of seating in and around the tent until at least 9:30ish I'd say. Possibly quite a bit later than that. In 2019 when I went everything filled up fast and pastry bois be running to get spots. Really wasn't necessary last year.

I heard in the past GA wasn't allowed in until bands started. Is that the case again this year?

 

No. The site doesn’t say anything about restrictions.

Last year they only let people with Group A or VIP tickets line up to "run to the tent first", all other ticket types had to line up separately and were let in after that group had entered.

 

But they make those people go immediately to bottle pick up. At least they did in 2019. So we lined up with everyone else instead last year despite being A because we didn't want to pick up immediately. I dK if they did that with A and VIP last year, but in 2019 they had staff monitoring that line as you walked to make sure you went to bottle pick up and didn't leave the moving line to go get a table instead.

 

They half-heartedly asked them go to get bottles directly last year, but they also didn't really care if you didn't and broke off from the bottle pick up line. Not sure if it will be different this year.

 

Gives off too much of FFF's 15 Anniversary poster vibe.

 

Got shafted at the Rrari swap, two 2022 Muertes for my one empty and one full.

Looks like a lot of yellow wax there.

 

Wonder if they’ll be giving out 2024 variants instead post fest.
