What beer are you drinking now? #4227

Beer Hates Astronauts, the excellent double IPA from Half Acre.

 

Hop Juju. At three months, not as fresh as I'd like, but still very good. The only other beer I can think of that holds up this well, this long, is Heady (maybe Sip of Sunshine, too). Love the 12oz format, too.

 

Today must have been grass cutting day. Got some freshly mown in my pic...if you can see through my dog. Mowed diagonally today, @miwestcoaster Growing like gangbusters the past couple weeks. Anyway. Beer. Founders Dirty Bastard from the grown-up can. Cheers!

#2, look at what I found at the back of the beer fridge from 2020 - and it is still PHENOMENAL. Loads of barrel notes (still a bit boozy), with a nice mix of spicy rye, roasty coffee, and some chocolate and stone fruit.

This is world class, IMHO, and when you take the price point into account, I’d say this may be the best value for a beer in our beer nerd world. Tell me I’m wrong.

PS: I’m going to Dark Lord Day tomorrow at Three Floyds with my best friend since 1968 - and our wives are encouraging this boondoggle. I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

Oh hell yeah! As you know we'll be up at Newfound Lake in late August and will be ready to met up again!!! Have you ever visited this place just off the south end of the lake, got for a few brews.....The Traveler's Rest Brewpub, a B & B with a bar side.

Rest easy my friend, I’m not medical authority by any means but that sounds a lot like a disc issue. My wife ruptured a disc quite a few years ago and those symptoms sound pretty similar
