Is anyone else amazed there are STILL tix available, or is this just an old beer nerd experiencing a senior beer nerd moment???

My childhood buddy and I are stopping at Sophia's for PANCAKES!!!!! before heading over to get our DL groove on. I'd love to see XX on tap - and available for purchase in bottles as someone mentioned in this thread so I can pick up a couple to age.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to finding some great stuff to sip on, both in the FFF's drafts (I'm jonesin' for some fresh Quaanto) and the guest taps (lots of solid choices IMHO).

I missed the memo on this one. What is the procedure for the swap? Hoping for better results after this year's DLD

 

Yeah they made the switch from '23 Hanjee to '22 Muerte a month or two ago. I wasn't overly pleased since I already had one but not the Hanjee. I had seen nothing but Hanjee swaps posted on-line. I mentioned it as a head's up in a Facebook group and got labeled a whiner. Oh well....F'em.

Interesting. I don’t see anything about beer when I google Hanjee swaps. The heads aren’t up, there is a group, but not a Facebook one, and everyone has their whiners out…

So uhh...anyone open a Naturally Upset recently? Just opened mine at our hotel (which is not allowing bottle sharing), and the consensus is clearly infected. Super tart. Tastes like it's a fruited stout or something. Aggressively tart. And not good at all. Pours had way more head than expected.

 

My buddy who got one last year cracked his shortly after DLD and said the exact same thing you’re saying here.

I’ve got one, and now I’m really, really not looking forward to opening it….

 

The excuse with the Rrhari was that some of the bottle caps were defective…would imagine that issue should extend to more than just Rrhari if they got a large batch of defective caps…

 

I would appreciate any reports on how picky they are on limits. Then again, anyone already past the gate is probably too drunk to type.
