Phase Three P3 Pils (4.7%): An American Pilsner from Chicago with flavors of lemon citrus, floral notes, yeast. Smooth pale malt flavors.

Coming back to this Pilsner from Phase Three. Listed as an American Pilsner, but drinks more like a German Lager. Ranked #11 on BeerAdvocate. Nice citrusy and floral hop flavors upfront. Yeast and bread in the middle. A smooth pale malt finish. Minimal bitterness. It has great aspects of a quality American Pilsner. No adjunct flavors. Then it has some hints of German hop flavors as well, but apparently they use all American Barley. Listed as #11 for a reason. This is excellent Phase Three stuff like usual.

Enjoying a lovely Hefe from one of my favorite German brewers. Da Boss and i had some running around to do earlier and while waiting for a venue to open we took a drive to a local landmark we have not seen in our 3 years in the area called Jump Off Rock which is at the 3000-foot elevation mark. The view is looking west.
    Cheers!

I didn't post my back-to-back SoS yesterday (homemade veggie stock from scraps, followed by homemade soup - no recipe, made it up on the fly), but I will today! Decided to hit the kit instead of the piano for post-work music practice:

I'm really considering Generac or something similar eventually. With all the power problems we've been having. There's certain times I absolutely can't go without electricity/climate control if your catching my drift.

I had a tent full throughout the snowpoclypse. Luckily I was on the tail end of drying. If you had genetics going you'd have been fucked, possibly lose valuable genetics.

...that's sounds outlandish...I just purchased an Anker Solix C1000 with a 200 watt solar panel (for back up recharging)...think I may buy a second one with an additional backup battery so the beer fridge, chest freezer, and main fridge (with more beer and Mrs. BeerGoot's precious Diet Pepsi) can stay cool...oh, and need to run the coffee maker and her Vornado fans, too (not the same as our central AC, but our house is well-insulated for summer and winter conditions)...not the same as having a whole house backup electrical system, but this will help us get through things in the future...

I had no problems with the Shingles vaccine except that my arm was really sore at the injection site after the first shot - but they warned me it would be sore the next day. Second shot was nothing, no soreness or other adverse reactions. Any discomfort is worth it though for the protection against shingles. Cheers!
